Can, May, Must

Six endings that reach past right now — built from two rules you already have

You can say what is happening and what happened. Half of what people say every day is neither: what they are going to do, what they can do, what they are allowed to do, what they have to do, and what they suggest doing together. Seven daily lessons for those six endings — and the point of the week is that they are not six new systems. Five of them are the final-consonant rule from the letters course, and the other two are the bright-vowel rule from the particles course, arriving somewhere new. Each lesson ends with a conversation you could have the same afternoon.
